Dear Mary,
I’m sorry I haven’t written soon, I hope I haven’t upset you. It’s been quite hectic, as you can imagine, with the start of classes and all. The apartment is beginning to feel like home. We’ve hung paintings and posters all over the living room – it’s great – it’s like the house we’ve always wanted.
I have the toughest schedule ever. I hate science and math and I’m taking Biology, Astronomy and Statistics (for the 2nd time) and German 3 with Helga Kraft who wears T-shirts like “Abortion Without Apology.” My Biology teacher is teaching us the “history” of life and how we came from blobs in the ocean. So it should be interesting.
How are things with you? I hope okay – how’s school?
It’s really late, it’s 1:00 AM but I’ve been having trouble sleeping. It would be great to hear from you.
I miss you,
Jack
