Mary,
We gave our tape to Mrs. Krivchenia bosnia-herzogovina or whatever her name is and she’s going to let the “board” listen to it and we’ll find out after Easter. I would be a dream come true to play at East Lake. She said we have a good chance – I don’t know we’ll see. We’d play from 1AM to 4AM the night after you graduate – imagine that – you’ll be graduating in just a couple of months. I bet you never thought you’d see the day you would say good-bye to East Lake huh? Well let me officially welcome you to the real world!

I couldn’t come home this weekend because we’ve been absolutely booked!! Last weekend we played two huge parties one Fri nite and then again on Sat nite – both were completely great. Now this weekend we’re playing for 400 people at a Surf Club party and Saturday we’re playing some other party (I have no idea where) and then on Sunday we’re playing at a barbeque – it’s an invite only party for the guy who owns a record store in town.
I’m exhausted!!! It’s a lot of fun though – I wish you were here – that’s why I want to play at East Lake so badly. I would have so much more fun knowing you were there.
Oh yeah, right now I’m supposed to be studying for a German exam but I had to write you. If you could just keep me in your prayers about keeping a balance on school and the band and most of all that Jesus remains first in my life. If there’s anything special you want me to pray for you just let me know, otherwise you’ll be in my prayers as usual. Call or write soon!
Love,
Jack

They had a stage all set up.. and then a breaker blew out the power outlet. Thats why you see them playing in front of the cafeteria hallway.
